Special Educational Needs


At St Wilfrid's, our aim is to help your child achieve the very best they can at school. Through our mission statement, Belonging, Believing, Becoming, we aim for all children to feel they belong to the school ensuring inclusivity is at the forefront of the work we carry out; we ensure all children believe in themselves to achieve and reach their full potential; and we encourage the children to flourish to become the best version of themselves developing talents in all areas of life. 

To do this, we work in close partnership with parents and carers - you know your child best and you may feel that your child requires additional help or support for some of their time at school.  The document below is to inform you of the types of support available for your child at St Wilfrid's CE Primary School.  The information will help you understand  who can help and how the support can be accessed.

If you have any concerns about your child or would like further information about any aspect of our SEND provision then please contact our SENCO (Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator):

Please note the SEN team all have access to this email account so if you wish to direct your enquiry to a specific member of staff please mention so in your email.  Emails are monitored between working hours and we will aim to respond to you within 3 working days during term time.
