We study Geography in our school in key stages as we do in other foundation subjects.

As the children pass through our key stages, their areas of study will encompass larger and more distant areas of the world. For example, in EYFS children will talk about where they live (their house street and school); in Key Stage 1, studies of the local area will take place alongside the countries and seas of the UK, the continents of the world and a comparison with a non-European country and in LKS2 and UKS2, children will carry out more detailed local studies, learn about specific continents and the environmental and socio-economic issues of the world.
